Yup, SF did one heck of a nice job on Nick's Matrix! I just wish my XR was a 5 speed also!

I heard all the way out here, it was Sears!

Its gonna be a Craftsman 2000 turbo set up, orignally for the riding lawn mowers, but with little modification, will fit the Scion line.

Default Turbo/superchargers....

I can't help but think that adding a turbo to an engine and transmission/drivetrain that wasn't engineered and built to handle the extra power is anything but a bad idea. The car couldn't possibly handle the added stress of the power and maintain reliability. I'd like an extra 20 ft-lbs or so of torque, as well, but wouldn't these changes to the drivetrain void a warranty?

Certainly it would void the drivetrain warranty, unless it was made by TRD.

As far as breaking stuff, the torque passing through the drivetrain is limited by the traction of the tires. You would probably increase wear by using the turbo torque all the time, but unless you caused detonation or some other functional problem with the engine you probably wouldn't break anything outright.

Abuse anything, even with a stock engine and it'll break.

Default Riding Lawn Mower

A turbo kit from a lawn mower in a car? Sounds kinda weard to me!
