Both a SC and a TC are awsome to have on the box. The SC will net you some whp, more than just what a I/H/E will.. But a TC will net you the most whp and blow away the power that a SC provides.. So it's a matter of how much whp you truly want from your setup. Personnaly I say go with a TC, but im kinda partial to them..

I would go with the turbo for your 5 speed.

yeah these little cars need all the hp they can get and sc run off of hp sure youll gain it back but its not really worth it, besides those wastegates sound f'ing mean on tc's haha. but the sc is definately a better bet for a 4-banger

TURBO.....................S/C is too limited and doesn't give you enough HP. ZPI has their turbo for the box and putting 180 whp down. Not bad for getting up a scooting along. It beats the tC with a S/C if the box has the Turbo. There's a vid on streetfire.net showing it.

better do the internals.......................sleeve the cylinders to take the extra pressure............just remember, you'll be pushing so much boost already that adding something more combustable will increase the pressure in the block drastically and you could be setting your engine up for disaster.

ya i know, ive been dealin with engines and high combustion for a long ime, i used to race jr. drags, little 5 horse lawnmowers that we pushed about 45-50 hp out of haha. the nos and tc most likely wont come for awhile tho and it depends on how fast the box is with a tc whether ill juice it or not. lol

If you do turbo and juice, go with lower compression pistons.
