I don't know how they compare, but I have the pulley and like it very much it add power and fuel mileage. The Unorthodox pulley is a very nice Mod!!!

Default pulley

It depends on if you are trying to lighten it for quicker revs. Or lighten and put less of a load on it. If you have a large stereo or a supercharger stay away from an underdrive. Unless you can get a different size pulley for the alternator or the S/C.

^^ i think that would be because the pulley is lighter than stock it will put less of a load on the injen. it will help you at the track by little. but the uprade is worth alot at the track. i got a brief explanantion of my buddy who has a 12 secong gmc truck 427 engine on it. of what i understood you should get a gain in horsepower. the pulley will free some horsepower when switched from stock to light or underdriven pulley. yee.. i cant wait to go to the track and try it out. next spring ill get the headers unless i magically come up with some money and ill hit up the track again this year.

i only raced once but with my sound system and few boxes in the box itself. i no longer have a sound system so this will help me out some bit. plus i also added some iridium spark plugs (to be installed this weekend) lets see if it makes a difference.
