here is a dyno test we did against the AEM V2 Intake..
It was done on a 1997 Civic EX 1.6L.

The runs include:
Stock intake.
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake.
Weapon*R Race Pipe.

Stock HP & TQ. = 100.91HP 84.12TQ
AEM V2 : 105.72HP 88.13TQ
WR Race Pipe: 108.28HP 90.27TQ.

 

Will it look like the aem cold air and then will the race type look like the spfr/injen ones were it goes straight down instead of looping on top like aem?

 

Sorry i forgot to bring my camera today but i promise i will have a picture up tommorrow.. Also.the pipe comes straight off the throttlebody and over to the fenderwell just right of the headlight and then 90 degrees downwards into the fenderwell.

I will also take pictures of our Newly developed Oil catch tank for the XB tommorrow..

Since your filters look a bit too fancy...Would it be bad if I changed the filter to a more...Normal one?

 

Well the filter is in the fenderwell.. you cant see it anyhow..
But i do not guarntee Simular HP results with a different filter..

I will get dyno results ASAP..
People in the bay area are invited to check the dyno testing out.. when we figure out the date of the dyno test.

that tank is in prototype stages.. everything fits.. It's just not as pretty as we would like .. But the productions ones will be..

Damn, not to be mean but that oil catch can looks F*kd up. Is that how the real thing will look like or will those corners be smoothed out somehow? I was planning on getting the Greddy one just for looks cuz that one is clean looking but if yours is somehow better, then we'll see. Do you know where to mount that so it can be visible cuz I want it mounted where people can see it but I have a strut bar and wanted it to sit on top but now I can't figure out another place.

 

Just like a breather filter..except nicer. Any oil that would go through there would just drop into the can...

Is it just me? I though the intake was suppose to have to pipes? or something like that..

 

If you read the reply.. IT SAYS.. It's a prototype.. and it will not look like this.. it's justa mock-up. It will have smooth edges. Etc and it will be polished..

I have to be on WeaponRLeo's side about selling product and offer certain warranty
A filter pipe is can be re-sale once its been reconditioned, but not the filter itself... Any return is company’s lost. Plus people now days do take advantages of the warranty...

For example:
Performance part is very very hard to do... There is really no "standard" standard... People can buy a intake for the that dyno proven to add 15whp... But still want to return it after week of abuse simply because they expected more... And that is just what humans are...

I really appreciated companies like SPFR and WeaponR for give certain warranty period for fellow scion owners. Red Genie itself gives 1 year limited warranty on our body kit too against our own mistakes. Hopefully you guys will keep supporting us.

But I also have one thing to say to companies that try to make sales here... I am not the admin of this forum, but I am a gold sponsor who paid to advertise here... Hope you guys will support the site if you wish to make the money here... Thanks
