I wouldn't get it... Titanium mufflers are not much different from your average steel muffler other than it's minimal weight savings (like 10-20lbs)

Leave the titanium to the sportbikes.

well you are utilizing stock resonator , so that eliminates most "poppyness" and you are only changing a small piece of pipe it;s hard to sound bad while keeping stock resonator and mid pipe.

^^^ lol, yea you're right since it's just a muffler!

A Full titanium exhaust setup would save you some weight, but then you're talking $800 and up.

You can get a Magnaflow oval muffler if you shop around for that price. It'll sound and look better.

Check around for Magnaflow numbers: 14832, 14814, or 14829.

www.performancepeddler.com - magnaflow mufflers really cheap with free shipping. enter "scionlife" in the dealer login for a discount.

It will be loud but not ricy ... I had a C/F Titanium muffler with custom axle back and it shound pretty good ... I was loud but not ricy ... It all depends on what you are looking for ... If you like that style of muffler and you don't mind the loud exhaust I would get it ...

just an axle back doesnt get that loud. at least not from my experience with scions with just axlebacks , if u dont want it loud add another resonator.

By the looks of that muffler its gonna be loud. That thing looks smaller than the JIC axle back and the JIC is loud as it is. I would not recomend that thing for your box, its gonna be loud. I hope this helps your on you decision.

If you're concerned about weight..........take your muffler off, and run a straight pipe. Costs like $35 bucks at a muffler shop.

i have gabes axleback but i figured id go all the way with it, i went to a muffler shop and had them run 2.25 from the cat back no resonator to the axleback and it sounds awesome, loud...but awesome, it pops, snarls, growls and buzzes, not a civic buzz but oh so sweet. i can def. feel a little more power too and i set off car alarms with ease

you will get a low smooth sound from most any axleback cause you still have your resonator and small mid pipe.

ANYWAY, i would personally stay away from no name mufflers, titanium or not. magnaflow is really nice qualtity and proven performance

Hmmmm...... 2.25" pipe from the cat converter back, replacing the resonator and installing an aftermarket muffler. It's not illegal to take out the resonator? Or is that just the Cat?

I like burbling......popping.......snarling...............sounds like a plan!!!

The resonator does nothing to smog so take it out or replace it with a free flowing one.

You can't take out the cat.
