I need better installation pics. Those instructions don't do justice without real under the car pictures. I plan on installing atleast 2 of the mounts and then have the dealership install the other 2. Does anybody have real pictures?

not cheating just using your resources. while doing it safely.

Well from what i have read, 2 of the mounts are easier to install than the other 2. I need to install atleast 2 of them to cut the labor cost down. I heard using a jack and a block of wood to help move the engine up helps. If I do get to install 2 of them, I'll take pics and post a DIY. I plan to do it in the next week, but you never know what will come up.

you'll need a press or take them to a machine shop to be pressed out. plus they can press the new ones in. make sure they align them correctly is all.

Well looking under the car today, I decided against doing it myself. I'm going to have to drop a couple hundred into getting these installed. They better be worth it.

lets put it this way its a lot of work for an improvement. be prepared for more noise in the car. i think it feels so much better even with the noise. at idle your going to have some vibrations in the car too. these are the sacrifices your making to have better mounts.

What kind of positives do you feel? I already know that it will be more noisy, but I want to hear some positives from people who actually have them.

vastly better throttle response, positive shift engagement

to give you an idea of the difference in throttle response, short of headwork, ITB's or forced induction nothing you do will make a bigger difference in throttle response then motormounts

I ordered these a week ago and got the left and right side mounts installed. They were pretty easy to do, and I didn't need a lift or press. I'm working on the rear one, but I'm not sure how to get the bolt out on the old mount since it is so close to the firewall. Any one taht installed them can help me??

P.S. I would have taken pictures of the install, but I don't have a working camera now

Could you explain what you did to do the side mounts? Do they just slide out?

^^^ The drivers or passengers side?

Update: I tried it again after buying some stubby wrenches and got the bolt off. I took the bottom three bolts off and the other mounts again so I could lift the engine up. I lifted it as far as it would go, but the studs on the mount were so long, it still couldn't come out, it would just hit the firewall. Do I have to drop whole steering/suspension assembly out or somethin to get the darn thing out? Help plz!!;)
