does it really matter? i mean how much faster then stock is it? or does drag still limit how fast a giant brick can move?

yea it matters. A box that beats a Vette down the 1/4 is worth it in my book. Imagine the face on that driver.
Or... you could put it in an xA

but really, when do u ever top out in speed? All the racing I do, and power I got i still havent run outta gear yet.

That's the one question that bugs me.. "how fast is it?" very novice Q Well what do u mean how fast is it? acceleration? braking? cornering? top speed? all that matters is the awsome feeling u get passing true performance cars on a road coarse makes them feel bad

i didnt mean for it to come out wrong.. i know the acceleration goes up .. but does the top speed stay the same.. there is a certain point that your speed is held back by drag..

the only reason i ask is.. i question myself if force induction is even worth the money.. im not trying to put you down or anything.. just curious

I think our cars, the way they are geared... will never see over 125 even if it had 500hp. I know C-one has different gears but i believe they are even shorter. I think that the gearing will cut you short before the drag will.

You'll never get to the point were drag is a huge problem on your car.

Not sure if you guys know this...

But the scion xB is actually a very aerodynamic car despite it's boxy appearance.

Its drag coefficient is actually on par with an F1 McLaren...

The drag coefficient doesn't matter too much in our cars (echo, scion). Because we will never go 200 miles an hour. But the good news is if you go that fast it won't take any more power to move it forward then it does for an F1 Mclearen

Check out the list of cars here:

That's due to 2 things mostly:

If you look from the top of the car the xB is actually quite rounded as far as the front and the windshield (ala Saab [who also build military aircrafts] and Porsche 911s)

and it has a small front area as it is not actually all that tall and quite narrow (mark 2 VW's were like that too-look at one from the front or back)

At our first track run of the year in Jan. Some guy brought out his white with Pink, purple and different color XB. I believe he was running in the 13's till he had a little problem downtrack. He was from Cali if I remember correctly.
