i counted like a 8-9sec 0-60 though... although the SC'd box is quick for a box, still relatively slow in the 0-60 compared to most other cars out there, no?. But i'd be more than happy with one, lol

as far as 0-60, i timed it to be about a 7 flat, remember, there is a shift right before 60 to which makes the "speed numbers" not too much to go on, also, my speedo is slow 2 or 3 mph, so i am hitting 60 and the rev limiter at the same time roughly. 9 flat is the factory 0-60 for the 5 spd box ;)

 

How does the low end feel off the line? That is something that I really dislike about my box ... it feels like it dips down before I make any power.

 

it pulls awesome in first gear, you wont be disappointed ;) low to high, in the other gears it shines more in the upper RPM, but off the line it is quite nice ;)

That sounds SWEET!!!! Ive seen a bunch of superchargers on boxes but I have never seen them running. It sounds like you have a V-8 under the hood, HAHAHA!!! Anyways is this is the way a SC pulls i hope my turbo pulls just as harder if not harder. If my speedo climbs the way your does im a happy man.

yeah, unfortunatley a big truck kicked up a golf ball sized rock as it was passing in the other direction... as far as the track, i would love to, but this is the first friday it opens and i am leaving this friday...

on a serious note, were you able to raise your rev limiter, how were you able to get your box to shift after 60 and 80?

I think you misread that. I believe he is saying a turbo charger setup will out perform a super charger setup and not the other way around

Fusionscion, how DID you get your b to shift above 60 and 80? What size wheel/tires are you running? I'm running 205/50/16's (equivilant to stock) and I'm winding the guts out of my motor at 60, if it doesn't hit rev limit before then.

Also, Easysbox, are you having problems with your belts stretching daily yet? I've had to tighten mine almost every other day.

 

except for the fact that you can actually buy the supercharger...haven't seen the zpi kit for the xB yet
