about this greddy rewire....
soooo i just finished the rewire for the greddy emanage since the 06 wiring is different than the previous xb's and now that its done, i wanna somehow check it before plugging it in.... any ideas on how to do this? i wish i could just plug it up and go for it, but i am stationed in england and scion doesnt exsist here. so yeaany help is much appretiated. thanks
You could do a continuity check across the oem parts of the plug. That was kind of tricky to me because the ends are mirrored and I kept starting from the left when I should have been on the right...
You will just have to refer to the diagram burstanyeurism made and make sure your connections are good and have continuity. If you have a multimeter with a beep function on continuity and have a friend mirroring you on the other end you can go through the whole harness pretty quickly.
I have this working on my car now. Please know what else you need.

misfiring on number 4, cant believe i didnt catch it untill today.... dunno what could be wrong though because ive checked and re checked my wiring and my connections, its all done right..... could something be wrong with the emanage itself?
when i unplug the emanage all 4 injectors fire, but as soon as i plug in the emanage number 4 just dies, i made sure over and over the yellwo n white goes to 14 c pigtail and the yellow n black goes the ecu end, ive done a continuity check to ensure my connections are good... really having a headache on this one.

it dawned upon me to check continuity going into the ecu.... turns out i have continuity going to the piggy back for number four injector signal(the purple and red wire) but not to the ecu side.... im at a loss at what to do now... can i fix this somehow even though its all melted together or should i just ditch it and get the boomslang?
check and recheck your splice. Mine did the same thing, I was sitting there looking at the wires touching but when I touched the meter to it NO BEEP! Blew my mind. But I redid the splice and then it was fine. When I made sure it was right, I had a friend solder and heatshrink it.
Btw where are you gonna mount it?

i would like to ask you where you mounted yours, i dont want to put it in the glove box cause i actually use it, well the wife does.... and the harness isnt long enough to reach under the seat plus i already have an amp there taking up space as of now its zip tied and sitting way up on the floorwhere it cant b kicked
no just tried it today, it asks for a password... if read on other fourms and its quite common... if i want to retune ill have to create a whole new fuel map from scratch... ive searched btw for the stock injectors... which is the size 210 or 280?
