well i sheered 3 crank pulley pins because of the extreme pressure the charger puts on the belt drivetrain. plus it's really really hard to prevent the belt from slipping, even with the best belt. You have to keep constant attention to the belt tension. The only thing i wanna open my hood for is to change the oil and clean, I don't wanna have to worry all the time. The Greddy Turbo has been good thus far.

yea i did it with the oem pulley, and the lightweight one, the best solution I found was to replace the oem roll-pin with a 1/8 inch high quality drill bit ( cut the end off, round end to the same length as the oem pin.)

hey do u have a boost gauge connected???? Just trying to help u out here... cause i didnt think my belt was slipping for about 3 months...until i connected a boost gauge and noticed it lost boost as the rpm's went up. It should hold consistant boost all the way to redline.

Yes I have a boost gauge. The belt slips and squeals only when the engine is cold.
I have adjusted all that I can and now it's time for a new belt.

I have a Blitz Supercharger Installed on my Scion Xa Currently. it does up the horse power quite a bit and it gives you the option of turning the kit completley off. the only thing is that with adding an extra 3 pulley's that the belt goes through it kinda takes away. also i realized that about every 10,000 miles or so your belt will start to get loose so retightening is needed. all in all it is a good kit and reliable as hell. havent broken down ever and ive driven every weekend 500 miles not including the weekdays to work and back for a year and its still like new!

blown xa, please do give us some more info on the greddy turbo kit. I took an rs3 xb in trade with this kit, and while the power was substantially increased, i was very dissapointed in the layout. I hate how all the piping was run over the top of the motor. is it the same in the case of the xa? thanks.

yea because of the confined space i believe that is the easiest way to run the pipes. The kit I have is the same. I like how it looks in my opinion though. You can paint or powdercoat the pipes , chrome them perhaps...

I don't have any real pics yet, but if you click on my avitar, it will bring you to my dealer's website, on the main page (scroll down) is a recent pic of my car on the dyno with hood open, u can see the piping from side angle.

Every once in a while my XB runs a little stange also and have been instructed to pull the fuse for the ECU and let it reset itself. It has worked good so far. Also, are you running high-test fuel only? You HAVE to run high test with a SC'er.
