Blowoff Valve Vacuum Source & Check Engine/VSC/TRAK OFF
My VSC, Trac Off and Check Engine Light come on after about 1/2 an hour of driving. I have been disconnecting the battery to reset it for the meantime. I do have a question though, when the check engine light comes on, does this actually disable the VSC and Traction Control?
Where are some of you pulling vacuum from for the blowoff valve. I tapped into the vacuum port behind the throttle body that taps into what seems to be an idle air control valve of some sort. I think this may be the source of the check engine, VSC and Trak Off light I am getting.
Any input would be appreciated!

from my CEL i realized it does actually turn it off.. mine came on from the knn typhoon intake.. and i dont have the stock box to fix it.. reseting the ECU.. works...for a while.. and every now and then it shuts itself off.. you do anything different to it, to make it come on?

I just installed the turbo kit.....
I read on www.clubxb.com that this is usually connected to an loose gas cap. I reset the ECU, tightened the gas cap and drove the car. It actually came back on after 15 or 20 minutes.
I came back to my house and thought about what it could be. I narrowed it down to two things:
1. My vacuum source for the BOV was incorrect.
2. I need to recirculate the BOV back into the intake track.
This is the hose where I tapped into for the vacuum source:

I am going to try and tap into the vacuum source on the side of the compressor housing and hook the BOV back up. It the code comes back, then I will try and recirculate and see if the code comes back.

I bought some Contact cleaner last night, sprayed the MAF, drove the car for 1/2 an hour and then teh check engine light popped back on.
I iwll try the brake booster vacuum source this evening and hopefully this helps.
I borrowed an OBDII scan tool last night, but it doesnt support the J2534 driver. I still have not been able to pull a code.
