for y'all f/i gurus anywhere around the globe..what's the ideal down pipe and exhaust size for the 1nz ? ( The turbo is like a TDO4 mitsu size ) Thanx o f/i gods

 

there's no ideal i guess..preference is all yours..i'm doing 2.75" on a 1nz..i'ev seen 2.5 to 2inch setup on a TD04 doing 190 on the crank..try nt to get too big bro..1nzfe afterall is a little delicate engine.

 

2.5" and you should be good to go.

 

I changed the the stock pipes on my Turbo Vitz (TRD Kit) they were tiny, went to a catless 2.5" Turbo back setup, and it made a huge difference, I don't have Dyno numbers but my 1/4 time mile went down a consistent 0.3-0.35

I'm only at around 125-130 WHP but 2.5" should be good for a lot more HP
