Default Dynoed...enjoy.

Well, I took my car to Euro Sport in Anaheim,CA on sunday since they were holding a dyno day...It was a long wait but I finally put the box on the rollers. About a year and a half ago I dynoed there and pulled a whopping 90 whp with just an intake and exhaust. Now that I've installed more goodies such as a supercharger, header and a new exhaust I felt it was time for another dyno run. So here ya go...

Now keep in mind that the 101.2 whp is there because the belt started to slip...then I told him just to run it even if it did...so the end result was 111.1 whp..not bad since this was what I predicted. With an average of 20% hp due to drive train loss, I estimated that the car is around 138.8 fhp which amounts to a 33 hp gain over the stock 105 fwp. Let me know what you guys think.

Peace

i dynoed at 100 HP and 97torque with just an intake and exhaust. sound to me like the supercharger didnt do to much for HP gains. 33 HP gain over stock is good but you could have gotten more with a turbo.

dynojets i don't like. They read high. Plus wherever u got dyno'd they probably jacked up the calibration. stock 5 speed puts down 86 whp.... I seriously seriously doubt that those minor 2 mods give a gain of 14whp. 90whp sounds right.

mmmmm sounds bad.......i mean u have to invest $$$$ for few power gain.

the TRD kit on a yaris gives like 130whp @ just 5psi. I guess better mapping will help a lot.

I thought drivetrain loss was usually calculated at about 15% not 20%. If that is the case, it would put you closer to about 130 hp. That sounds about right. Especially for a slipping belt.
