Factory TRD Turbo for xB/xA..

Look what I found:

This is super old info. Can't run it on US cars cause the bB has different ecu.

You have to swap to the Japanese ECU to run that kit.

For those who haven't been keeping up, this kit is coming over in a new 1-NZ Turbo'd Corolla coming out in February.

It's been Cali legal for a few years now, I found it on the CARB site a while back.

Did you read the article? Granted the quote is in a spot that could be easily overlooked (between two pics).

Says launching but does not say launching in the U.S. This article is brought by Toyota Japan and the race is being held in Fuji or something.
I'm pretty sure they are launching it in Japan. All the good stuff comes out there first.

The Corolla doesn't weigh that much more than the xA or xB so just picking up the car
would be good enough really if it does hit us shores. Will open up for some of us maybe.

if i was gona buy a preturbod car it wouldnt be a corlolla w/ 150 hp lol just like the kit bc i have the 1nz lol

i like this lol, that 1n could possibly have diff internals to compensate for being turbo'd hmm i wonder. and an ecu thats set for a turbo, thatd help alot too.
