I very seriously doubt you factory warranty will be kept in the event that you have that installed.

I would just make sure you get in writting before you do it. It almost sounds to good to be true, so there must be some catch or drawback that is lurking in the back. But if not sounds like you have found a great way to have warranty and be boosted.

The dealer will also tell you that a 30k mile service where all they do is change your oil, air filter and spark plugs for $325 is a great deal.

Your dealership may be offering a warranty but move away from them and youll get no such treatment. Then the only warranty youll most likely get is if something is installed improperly, if they decide to take the blame. I wouldnt count on them replacing a detonated piston.

As someone said, get it in writing from Toyota itself, not a dealership. If the dealership goes under, finding someone to honor their personal warranty will be tough. Most dealerships try to get out of honoring Toyotas warranty for most cases.

I want a boosted box that is warrantied. What dealership is that at? I would like to call them and talk for a little bit. If it is true, I would drive up there and pay to have them install it just for the warranty.

No way..... no dealer will warrenty performance parts, I work @ dodge and we dont even warrenty the FACTORY mopar upgrade kits for srt4 turbos, theres no way anyone in their right mind will warrenty an aftermarket part. Toyota would dump a brick when the dealer tried to get their money back for parts/labor.

Actually its true. I have Platinum coverage and when you look in the brochure under drive train it covers everything from supercharger kits to turbocharger kits.

Guys, dont jump on him without knowing what the deal is first. If a particular dealership offers parts, its up the them if they want to warranty the cars. A few years ago, I made some parts for a Toyota dealership. The sold it at the dealership and they warrantied the cars with it. It was a decision made by the director. It wont hold a factory warranty but it can be offered by that dealership. Now, if you buy a kit from that dealership and have someone else install it,....thats not something you can claim warranty on. Same goes with TRD stuff.
