Default Injectors

Hi everyone,

I don't own an (or a) xB, but I have a Toyota which has a 1NZ-FE engine. Right now, i'm doing a turbo setup with low compression CP pistons (9.5:1 CR) and crower rods.

I'm planning to use a Garrett GT2860R blower with a front mount intercooler.

I have pretty much everything except the injectors. I'm read thru and found that some guy used a ford contour svt injector and they were a direct fit. however, looking at the pictures below, i'm kinda skeptical about the inlet fitting onto the stock fuel rail, coz the stock injector's inlet seems much thinner than the ford's. Anyone can shed some light?

Stock Injector:

Ford Contour SVT Injector:

Also, will this bigger (410cc, for a Ford Cobra) injector fit? :

Default injectors...

i dont know how much boost you plan on pushing into your 1nz but i run 8 psi in mine and i used a set of Tc injectors and a perrin fuel rail and have had alot of luck. The Tc injector pushes 380cc i beleive. I dont beleive either way that those ford cobra injectors are going to fit because the fuel rail side requires a donut gasket while the cobra one looks to be an oring.

so, i suppose the injectors won't fit eh. Any other solution? I bought come injectors from RC, and they didn't fit coz the fat body was hitting the head.

I have a friend of mine thats selling RC engineering 550cc injectors. They were used on a 1ZZ-FE, but fit perfectly on a 1NZ-FE.

I can put up tC injector pics later. They are a direct fit. Keep in mind with the Ford ones as well that you will need to wire them up, and I doubt the electrical connectors will fit as is. Dezod gets theirs from Deutchworks I believe if you need to go larger than tC stock ones.

send tc injectors to scott @ usrallyteam and he can hog them out for you (with lasers or some crasy ish) anyways they do a great job, just let'em know hoe much flow you'll want and he'll let you know what he can do, or what he can get you for the application.
