I picked up a couple of 45mm studs from Ace Hardware for my manifold. About 3 bucks each and coupled with stainless nuts and lock washers, it did the trick. Try your local hardware store, you'll be surprised.

Standard hardware bolts? Were they grade 8 at least? I know with True Value they don't list bolt grade for metric, I'd be hesitant to put anything like that on such a crucial part of the turbo where it is exposed to high temperature, shear and tensile forces.

What I did is order the tC exhaust manifold studs from Dezod. They are the same thread size and pitch and fit perfectly with a Greddy turbo manifold. After fit check, I let Dezod know and they now list them for the 1NZ-FE as well.
