Dont cheap out on ebay ones or ones without a baffle. You definitely need something to prevent oil and moisture from getting sucked back in. And DO NOT use steel mesh as a baffle. It sheds like a B and metal fibers will likely be sucked into your engine. The link I posted is of a pricey one but it filters better than any other out there and you will see the most benefit from it than any other one. For an xA you may not see the need but if you want max effect then get that one. My gf's car (speed 3) NEEDS this catch can so that it doesnt burn oil and emit blue smoke. And no the turbo isnt bad, the PCV system is flawed on those cars. Fix is in the works supposedly. But the can is working great so far and catches about double of what the previous catch can did.

i never had problem with my steel mesh filter, i did a thorough inspection on it and it is pretty intact.. I have a good volume on my catch can so I dont think the filter will see some huge pressure of air passing through it.

here's a pic of my catch can

yep yep, the atmoshere is my oil catch can lol. Hey and it also doubles as a "oh ____ my motor is effed" gauge... If I see a lot of blow by smoke emitting from my hood scoop, I know my ringlands are gone LOL an oil catch can would hide it, im a funny guy.

Sorry Ace, I meant where one places steel wool in their cheap empty catch can to act as a baffle to prevent oil from being sucked up. The mini cones seem just fine and I may have to get one some day lol.

With your setup it doesnt seem like much if any oil would ever be found in the can since there is no intake vaccum pulling oil out. A filter there would be all thats needed lol. But since you already have the can and it looks very nice lol Im sure you'll just leave it as is.

Why does your charge pipe look like it's made out of aluminum foil?
