They are going to offer a skid plate for the turbo area.

I was wondering about how much airflow will get to the turbo and also how is the oil return line secured because if that gets caught on anything it's lights out.

Just as a reference here is my turbo.. the oil returm comes out and almost strait up.. so there are no worries about it getting caught by anything..also it is not the lowest part on the setup, the down pipe to turbo is..

ok off topic, but is the ZPI stuff going to replace the header, or bolt after it? Will you still be able to run "stock" exhaust?

Thanks!
Keith

Airflow is taken through a filter higher and fed into the turbo like a standard setup (no water will get in and lots of air available where the intake is located) it's oil cooled and should still get enough air flow to keep additional cooling on track in that regard as well

Water hitting the exterior of the turbo isn't an issue at all... the pic you see it of the exhaust side of the turbo setup, with the exhaust off....so, it is a bit confusing to some... the down pipe is the part that is the lowest... so road debre and such could be an issue to consider with it... but a protective plate is discussed too...

It's just hitting the end of development and going into production... but, looks like a much better looking and from vids and links, performing option to the GReddy.

You can use your exsiting header that is on the car, the down pipe of the exhaust is what gets replaced... as for the exhaust it self:

What I meant about airflow is how much will be able to cool the turbo, I was just curious about how the kit will perform once it's become heat saturated.

Well one of the reason the redesigned the turbo setup was to help with the cooling of the turbo. It gets alot more air across it underneath the car, then it would sitting in the engine bay on top of the manifold. Hope that answers your question.
