Quiet High Flow Exhaust
I'm looking for a high flow exhaust that will work well with a turbo, but, I don't want it to be too loud. I had an Evolution and the exhaust on that was really quiet, I liked listening to the turbo whine more than the exhaust. Anyone know of an exhaust that will give me what I'm looking for?
not trying to be funny, but your turbo wines? Are you sure you dont have a spercharger? A turbo DEF> shouldnt be wining...maybe bleeding off a little air as it builds boost, but that would be more of a swooshing sound...
ehh anyways, back to the topic at hand.
While there arent any full cat-back systems other than magnaflow or obx, if you want quiet im going to say obx. Magnaflow is SUPERIOR quality, but obx also makes the trd axlebacks which have a very nice mellow tone.
If you really want to get trick, just do what i did, get an electric cutout installed.
This allows me to run my nice quiet TRD exhaust, but when a want to get on it, flip a switch and say good-bye to the restrictive cat, resonator and muffler. ;)
Works wonders.

I only said my turbo whines only because I couldn't think of the word I was looking for.
. If it whined I'd be in trouble. However, I will take your word on the exhaust as you have helped me out before on the forums, Thanks. Where I can get the electric exhaust cutout?
