Stripping and on a diet? ....Sexy
Okay so I had some minor questions I'm sure I could answer myself but I guess would like feedback,
How heavy is a stock seat with brackets and rails?
I've managed to gut the interior but the bolts holding the few hooks in the back panels to hide away the seat belt seems like an awfully large hex key..
What other things could I possibly do to lighten the b up without spending any more cash..
Understandably carbon fiber would do wonders but I'm budget building..that and going ghetto since my last xb was stolen...

Not sure how heavy the stock seats were but i do recall them being pretty heavy but was mostly due to the brackets. It depends on how far you want to go with weight reduction?Any little helps but is it worth it to you?The basic is rear seats then some other little things. Here is what i did to my 1991 integra becasue i had another daily driver.I took everything out pretty much just the 2 front seats.I then removed the ac and everything that goes along with it all the lines.rad etc. Then i took out the power steering and all the lines aswell. You can pretty much stand in the engine bay.I then bought a jdm front bumper and headlights but never put them on becasue i ended up selling the car but i got it down to about 2,000 lbs.
