Default Is there a difference between these cold air intakes?

Made by "BOMZ Racing"

Unknown Manufacture

I found both of these on ebay, and was unsure if either was worth purchasing due to their inexpensive price tag.... I don't want to spend a few hundred dollars on an intake, and these seemed to look fairly legit. I have heard of someone on here liking their "bomz racing" intake, and I wanted to make sure this was the same kit.

Basically, I'd be buying this mod for looks, not performance.... and as long as it doesn't hinder my car in any fashion, I'd like one.

Any and all comments would be appreciated!

bomz clone is not bad, exact replica, good welds/fit/performance....biggest problem
is no brand name, which doesn't faze me anyways.

well, ther not bad some of the times. Just that those are generic intakes no brand. As for big companys like aem,kn,injen, fugita really on quality control so the product is always done right the first time. As for this intakes well its hard to say if ther made good.Just save up and get real one thats 50 state street legal.. just my 2 cents

Take my advice on this one.

Buy the no-name brand. It looks like it has a Scion logo printed on it!

Honda, Toyota and other big companies are known to crack down hard on those who use their logos without authorization.

That intake is destined to be a collector's item, and soon to be released without the logo.

The other reason they are cheaper is that they use cheaper materials to make them. Cheaper hoses and clamps as well as filter.
