Hey, I'm planning to get a turbo within a few weeks, but I'm not sure which I should get. I have a few questions about turbos in general though. I know turbonetics makes a turbo for the automatic tc (which is what i drive). I was wondering what's the difference with getting a turbo for an automatic and a manual car. Can I put any turbo on an automatic or is there something specific that differentiates the two types???

 

wrong section, but the automatic might be different for a couple reasons, one your auto trans might not be able to handle the same amount of torque the manual kit will produce and two, auto trans are usually bigger and might affect the way the piping needs to be run

 

Lol yea I just noticed shortly after that I posted this question in the wrong section, but thanks for the response. I checked in the forced induction section for the tc and I had a lot of the questions I had answered just by looking at previous posts.
