Default Upgrade Injectors for xB

Hey guys. I wanted to open up this thread to talk about or ask about injector upgrades for the xB. I was told by some to use the Celica GTS injectors as an upgrade, then I was told that they are not the same and that the GTS injectors are shorter.
I spoke to RC Engineering and they did not have anything for the xB. Who makes injectors for the xB or which car's injectors can be used as an upgrade?

I'll try to find out what injectors ZPI put in mine, to help you out.
I think it was BlownxA that warned you about the injector issue's right, correct me if im wrong.

It might have been. Does ZPI require you to go with an aftermarket fuel rail when upgrading the injectors? Thank you guys so much for the help.

Yeah, I bought the fuel rail about 3 weeks ago from sciongarage.com. I emailed them several times and they have not responded. I think I would have to call my credit card company up and demand a refund.

No, they will use stock rails for their kits, but i opted to go with a Perrin one for mine.

See if Gabe(Stylis) at Precision Muffler can get you a fuel rail if your other deal falls through. There was a flaw in the Version 2 redesinged rails that caused them to stop producing them and had to redesign them again, which is why they are so hard to find right now.

Gotcha. For me, there is no reason to go with the aftermarket one if the stock rail will flow enough to feed the upgraded injectors. The only reason why I wanted to get an aftermarket one was for the FPR. It doesnt seem to cause a problem though.

The only reason why I went with the fuel rail was because I did a return line fuel setup instead of the traditional "returnless" OEM fuel system. It worked pretty efficiently for what it was worth, and there has been only a few that have done it. The returnless boosted setup with these cars is for the lazy hehe. The Perrin rail has a 3/8 NPT end on it so you can run a shot of juice or hook up the FPR. Why would blownxA say that the 2zz injectors arent drop in?? Has he tried it himself to see if it even worked? I just realized that they would definitely fit into the stock rail because the perrin rail just has a larger bore diameter to allow more fuel through the rail to feed the injectors.

I used injectors from a Ford Contour SVT. They were 280cc and dropped right in to either the stock rail or the Perrin rail.

I would definitley recommend doing the rail upgrade at the same time because you are going to have it out anyways. You should upgrade the whole system while its apart so you dont have to do things twice.
By the way, I sell the Perrin rail on my site with no problems of getting it, and great customer service.

The RC injectors WONT fit the motor. I had the same injectors and they didnt fit. The body was too fat and wouldnt fit in without hitting the head and going in crooked. RC originally THOUGHT they would fit, but they wont.

I have injectors from a Ford Duratec V6. I wonder if they are similar to the SVT ones the other guy was talking about.

There really is no point. If you do that now, your car will hardly run and I am guessing without something to tune the ECU, your car wont even idle. It will run toooo rich.

Does anyone know if the 2000 Celica injectors will work with our engines?
