ZPIracing tb - questions about electronics
I have some questions about electronics in general and more specifically them working with this setup. I've been doing as much research as possible and really want this setup to use the ZPI tb when it's available. I know that this comes with a greddy emanage system preprogramed. My first question is....
What boost controller and/or turbo timer are you guys planning on running (if any.) I like the look of the Apexi Super AVC-R unit best, but from what I read the greddy profec e01 will incorporate into the emanage best. What are some takes on this.
I know that everyone claims the Apexi is tougher to install, but has nice buttons (user interface) and can be hidden easily. While the greddy has to be controlled via remote and has to always sit up on the dash, but is easier to setup.
My second question is, do you need to run a turbo timer as well or will these units handle that?
I don't want this to become a discussion of which brand people like the most or what is 'in' right now. What it all comes down to is, I like the look of the Apexi the best, but would I be wasting my money of features I couldn't use or possibly already have by going that route. Thanks for any advice from all the knowledgable ones in the community.

As far as I know(in my discusions with ZPI) the turbo setup is going to be preprogramed for the boost level( depending on if your a manual or an auto) and there will not be a boost controller with the setup. As for the turbo timer, it is an optional item you can add to the setup, but ZPI will tell you it is really not needed, but to put one in if you want one ( my remote start alarm has a built in one and have read its good for the cool down of the turbo). You may want to check out the ZPI site and there forums to have some of these questions answered by them or call them and have them answer your questions (they are super swamped and dont always have time to come on SL) .
