I searched and didn't find an answer to the question, "why doesn't the upgraded iPod head unit on my 06 xB scroll to show me the entire song title"? I figured it out the other day and I thought I'd pass it along to those of you who haven't. When the song title is over 14 characters long you will see a small arrow pointing down to the right of the last character. If you press and hold the TEXT button for two seconds the rest of the song title will appear on the display. When you press the TEXT button again it reverts to the beginning of the song title. I usually know which song is playing but it's cool that the option is there if you want to use it.

 

it should scroll no matter what. ____es me off that it doesn't....

That always bothered me that the title was cut short. Not much of a manual comes with that sucka.
