Ok so I have a kicker solarbaric 15 inch. (square version). The problem is the speaker is to big for my trunk. I dont want it to be seen so i was thinking of customizing myself. Any ideas on how I may be able to do this?

Also if I get it professionally done how much will this run me?

 

Where do you live Ill build you a custom box uncarpeted for around $100

If you arent close I can giv eyou plans to fit in the truck for about $10.
Just let me know if you want SQ or SPL, ported, sealed, and what thickness wood(1/2 or 3/4)

 

When you say a custom box do you mean a box I can purchase at t a store or an acutal custom setup like I see here on this site. I have a box for it already the only problem is the box is big in height. Since it is to big in height you and see I acutally have the box in my trunk through the window. The reason dont want to go that route is because I would be risking getting a window broken and have my car broken into. The trunk cover is usesless because of the height of the box. I have a TC btw.

 

15in solobarics....they are hard as ____ to put in a LOT or vehicles they need a minimm of like 3ft air space. but im gonna get one

 

you can use a much smaller box 1.2-2 cu ft if you use a sealed box vice a ported one

 

I got a sealed box for it. The box is to big in height.

 

meh...i dont like sealed boxs...just my oppinion
but yea even a sleaed box is going to be big...my suggestion would be get a custom fiberglass box...one of the audio ships around here does F.glass boxes starting at like 180$

no its a local shop called freemans car audio...not sure if they have a site...i would assume they do cuz they are a high end shop very professional
