Default 6 Cd Changer problems

I have had a problem when using my cd player. I'll be listening to a cd and when I go to change it to a new cd and the error 4 comes up. This has happened to me 4 different times. Usally when the air condition is on.
I can't get the cd player to work afterwards untill the next time I get in my car.

Not sure if this is the one I purchased the changer from, but...

I keep getting an error 3, not an error 4. After a while of being on the unit shows that all 6 discs are loaded, but doesn't let you eject them. There aren't any discs in the changer. When you press the load button, it says that it's full and won't take the disc.

I installed this on someone else's new tC not mine, but it's still a big problem because she's waiting for me to get it resolved. If anyone knows what an error 4 is please let me know because I'd like to fix it for her. Thanks in advance.

hey not to be mean to you.. but try search.. this has been talked about a lot on here..

but basically it's time to go to the dealer and get another headunit.. this has been happening a lot.. pioneer's quality in my opinion leaves a lot to be desired.. just get a replacement headunit..

I just saw this post and I believe the person I bought it off made it. I figured I'd clarify the error number in case someone did know what they meant.

Thanks for the help though. I'll try to get it swapped out on Monday.

yeah joe.. let us know how it turns out with the dealer.. basically there are issues with the internal electronics on the headunit.. the 6 disc seems to get that error 4.. a lot.. the single disc, i went through three until one worked.. one had an ejection problem, another would just go blank/quiet and not play anything.. etc.. so yeah error 4 basically means get another one.. lol
