Hey i want to add an AUX audio port to my 05 xb , want to put it next to the fog switch, has anyone ever tried this , and does anybody know where I could get the hardware ?[/b]

 

This should have been posted in the stereo forum although I will say you might want to check into just getting a stock 06 radio and the wires that go to the stock 06 port.

 

Usa spec makes an aux in for Scion all of them, Df-toy is the model number we sell it at Circuit City for $150 it comes with two aux rca's in and plugs into the cd changer port on the back of the radio.You could wire a female mini jack to a male jack to rca into the aux port on the usa spec. Radio shack might have the female mini jack in, to flush into the panel. If you got anymore questions please ask im a professional car stereo installer, and happy to answer any questions i can.

 

Sorry guys and girls, i lied the usa spec df-toy piece is only $60 at circuit city, my bad, i wont let it happen again.

 

went to raido shack bought a Y-adapter RCA plug , and a 1/8" input jack for flush mount. Bought a PIE TOY03-AUX 2003-05 from Discount Car Stero cost about $70.00 but install looks really easy , Will post images and a review after I install it.
