Default adding sub to stock hu

just seeing if anyone knew how to do it? couldn't find a post.

yea u can. lots of ppl have. if u tried a search with "sub" and it didnt come up ill try to explain the best i can. u need an RCA cable or somethin like that to splice in and run out back to the sub. im not the foremost leader on this but its possible and many ppl have done it. if u find it try and suggest it to an admin. for a sticky or possibly for the tech section. good luck tho

You either need an RCA converter or an Amp that has inputs for speaker wire. It will say it has high level in.

You need either a hi/low converter like above which converts your speaker level inputs to rca outputs or like the above poster said an amp with hi level inputs which takes the place of the above device.

You can just tap in to the speaker wire running to the rear speakers.

YEA and tap into the rear speaker wires, but unplug them first and trim back the outer casing it will give you room to use the wire tappers without cutting them or loosing the use of the rear speakers after the amp and sub are up and running
