Default Aftermarket HU's for XB

Looking for a HU upgrade under or around $1000. I'm having a hard time finding any pics of aftermarket installs.

Does anyone have pics of single din w/ dash kit or nice double din units.

well, this is slighty custom, and under $1000. Eclipse CD8455 in a Scosche dash kit.

More pics of my system here.

$1000 can get you an excellent head unit..... unless you're wanting a screen...

For regular HU's, look at Alpine and Eclipse....they're about the best there is.... or if you can find this one:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=91096
it would be basically the ultimate head unit w/o a screen....

Anyone tried out two single din units like a tuner and LCD combo? I am trying to keep a somewhat stock look and feel but want/need pre-outs

If you are looking for something in the double din might I suggest www.audiocubes.com

You can get JDM single or double din HU's. I was looking at them for a bit but ended up getting the Alpine 9855 HU.

If you are going for a screen/monitor HU the only two I know of are the Kenwood ddx7015 (I think that is the number) or the Pioneer Avic-N1 (I think that is the number) However the last time I checked the prices are well over $1k and that is not including install.

Piston - Thanks for the pic

SCI_TC_GUY - Thanks for the advice - I think i may look a little more into the first one - The kenwood seems kind of cheap and ewwww a tape deck.

I have seen a power acoustics setup with two single din units one is just the tuner, cd... The other is just an LCD..
If any one hase experience with these kinds of setups I'd love to hear about it or see some pics.

Thanks for all your help guys.
