Default aftermarket keylass entry

Is there such a thing?

Is it any good or is it buggy?

How much does it costs to get it installed if there is?

Sorry for posting in the wrong place. Using my sister's account and didn't realize there was a forum like this.

Anyway, what is the price difference for the alaram and the key-less entry?

Anyone have a site with info on either/both?

A good manufacturer of alarms is DEI, http://www.directed.com/ . They have many sub-brands which are all pretty much the same products albeit there are price differences. Shop around and usually you can find much better prices. You might also check out Compustar or Thor as some members on this board use those alarms. Generally you can get a decent alarm put in your car for around $200 and sometimes less if you find a good deal.

You might consider using the search tool at the top and restricting the form to ICE with keywords such as alarm. It will give you some topics to read up on what people put in their car.

I had a friend with 3 year's experience install my alarm with keyless entry and remote starter. He recommended DEI and Audivox highly. I ended up buying a lesser Audioxos brand, Prestige, for $90 on ebay. It works perfectly.

I got a decent keyless for $62 shipped. Read more about it here...
