Default Airbag in Seats?

I didn't think there was, but I'd just like to confirm. I believe the wire under my front seats is for the seat belts but today when I had them unplugged, the airbag light came on.

Its an 06 xB. Its sort of a car we share in the family but my dad used it for work for a while and it was loaded down with plumbing tools. So the inside was dirty and had a smell to it. So today I felt like completely gutting it and cleaning it well.
I pressure washed all the carpet etc. I did the back seats and they really cleaned them up. Going to reinstall when they're completely dry.

Anyways, before I pressure wash the front seats which are the dirtiest. So I want to verify if there's any electronics in the seat that I may damage when I pressure wash them. I did take a lot of pics that ill post tomorrow. It's turning out pretty good

Here's some pics. The front seats were the worst. I was just messing around and you can see a major difference already. I was going to scrub the whole interior but I decided to pressure wash it. The seats will be last to be washed.

Drivers quarter panel cleaned. It's still scratched up but that's fine since its just a run around car and a car to grab stuff from Home Depot, etc. at least. It's getting clean. Was tired of driving a filthy car lol.

After. I scrubbed them a little more after this and did one more pass with the pressure washer after this pic so they are a little cleaner than pictured.

Carpet from under the cargo area and rear seats. Wasn't too bad but I cleaned it anyways.

The light came on because the weight sensor (under front seats) to activate front air bags was disconnected. Gen1 xB's do not have seat air bags.

Do you think pressure washing the front seats will harm the sensor or should I remove the seat cover? The rear seat covers looked like they'd mess up if I removed them

Probably but not sure. The upholstery might not hold together under pressure washing and the foam may never dry causing it to mold/breakdown faster. You'd be better off doing them with an upholstery steam cleaner seat covers are also glued to foam in spots

Thats true.

The car is so dirty because it was used for work loaded down with plumbing tools etc. Its not loaded down anymore, so we just use it for a run around car. I was tired of driving it filthy so I cleaned it. Carpets back in and looks alot better.
