hey. i need some help with an alarm install. im gettin the viper 790 w/ remote start and i was wondering if there was anyone in the bay area that knew how to install it? i was planning on doin it myself but my friend at circuit city was saying that not even he would attempt to install that alarm. is there anyone that can do any maybe teach me? thanks a lot guys

 

If you are not familiar with electronics, i would not attempt it. Its not something you can just learn by teaching over the forum..You need to understand the basics of relays and diodes as well as dc electrical flow.

Now, if you do have electronics experience, say u installed car audio before, then i recommend you try the scion. Its a great car to learn on if u know some basics as i mentioned before...
I learned on my 95 civic how to install a _____in system as well as an engine start alarm..

Maybe u should take a whole day and try instaling it yourself...u might enjoy the learning experience..scions aren't that hard..
