Oh brother, here we go . I guess I'm not a nice guy .Didn't feel the need to call him not for a $3 part that I replaced myself. It's not like he was gonna give me another one anyway. I brought the kit from him back in Feb 2003. It's a nice kit. I'm not putting the kit down, just letting everyone know that transformers do go bad.

its cool bro, dont sweat it. i would have replaced the inverter though. i have also changed the kit, so this will not happen again. sorry for the trouble.

I had a BIG UPS for my home computer go bad once.. that's no good. 100 lbs of FIRE breathing, black smoke beltching, mercury and lead! All these things go bad at some point. it's what makes life interesting

No problem, some people just take things way too far sometimes OOPs the date is supposed to be Feb 2004 :oops: :oops: :oops:

not to stir something up, but should they at least have warranty? 1 yr or 2 yr? I work on a computer speaker company, we sell some cheap crap but if transformer or anything went bad with in warranty period we replace them no question ask. as long as receipt(very important) is provided.
Randode is very nice to offer something in this case.
