I was wondering if it is possible to connect an Alpine cd changer with the ibus connectors on my pioneer aftermarket headunit? I know there has to be an adaptor out there somewhere to marry the two brands together! Thanks for the help!

 

well if you cant find the converter

you can use rf modulated cd changer = uses the FM signal

 

there are actually ways to get alpines to work with JVCs and sonys, but not Pioneer. The plugs are different, and so is the wiring. Pioneer uses more wiring for data transferthe the alpine does. I have hacked many plugs trying to do this, all I end up with is a cd changer cable trash.

Just what I thought ....oh well I guess I'll have to buy a new Pioneer changer. Anyone interested in an Alpine 6 disk ai-net changer? Thanks Guys

I've had it for about 4 years but only used for 2 years. Still works have all the wires and all, it even has optical connection. If interested make me an offer if I could get enough to help pay for part of a pioneer that would be great. Thanks
