Amp installed, car wont start

Default Amp installed, car wont start

just got done installing an amp in my xb and now it wont start. with the ignition on everything works, it just wont crank over, at all! the battery is not dead and all the cables are hooked up correctly. has anyone had this problem? :?

Yes, this has happen to me when installing audio... why? I don't know, but it turns out to be a bad fuse. Check your fuse box under the hood. I think it was the fuse for the starter... but check all that are related to engine management.

Yeah.......I was gonna say fuse too. And don't even bother just checking ones that are engine related..........check them ALL. I was doing some lighting and blew a fuse.........checked all the ones that sounded like they might be the problem.....and none were blown. Finally decided to check the fuse I kept telling myself "couldn't be it".......and sure enough......that was the blown one.

Check the fuses under the hood........and under the dash.

i checked all the little ones but i will check the starter one, i think it is actually a relay but im not sure, of course that makes it harder to tell if its bad too. thanks for the info.
