i was just wondering if anyone on here tried this setup of his or know someone who did? it looks clean and he seems like a nice guy plan on doing business but wanted some feedback b/f making a move.

yeah plenty of people have done LCD in the dash and pushed the head unit down.. definitely pleased by it and that looks like a clean install on the LCD to boot

 

definitely a cool setup! go for it...havent seen that guy post lately..

 

Matt does the screens--from what I hear definately a cool dude, who has many happy customers including a lot from the WRX crowd and a few Scion owners as well.

PM mattjk, he will give you a quote. it usually includes shipping unless you live close enough to take your trim piece to him. he usually replies quickly.

 

i had matt do it for me, he charges $350 installed, very well worthed, i'm very happy


if you're local you can either drop it off or mail the bezel to him


sorry, i dont think he does the actual install in your car, he just install the lcd to the bezel for you; very clean, no mod or cutting on the bezel

you can get the exact same dvd player for $400-500 + 350, system under $900
