I wonder how much it would cost to shave off the base of the antenna. I never listen to the radio anyways........

I've had both... I recommend the s2000 antenna. I gave the junk I bought off ebay away.

If you don't want to hear static when you listen to your radio, get the s2000. If you're just going for looks, buy the throwaway off ebay.

umm... that antenna is $9.99

WITH $9.99 SHIPPING

go to a honda dealership and buy an s2000 antenna, it's also the same on an element, and a civic DX (i think, some hatchback of sorts)

I got mine online for $16.98 + $3.95 shipping = $20.93, dunno the site.... umm... AHH here it is, reputable site, got it in 3 days

I know it's been said before, but people will spend $16,000+ on a new car, but won't shell out $20 for an accessory they want? And I'm not even mentioning the people who won't spend $80-100 on factory floor mats, but will put a set of $20 APC or other Pep Boys/Wal-Mart specials in it...

I got my S2000 antenna from H and A.

I have that 8" antenna on my xA. It's known as the JDM antenna they use on most of the Japanese Toyota vehicles...minus the hinged base (which allows the car to be parked in the small garages). It fits nicely on the tC, but it still seems a little long for most people. I'd go with the S2000 antenna...even though it _IS a HONDA part. Caras de culo..

No it's just the antenna mast, not the base.

gotta love a 'bargain hunter.'So very, very true. There are some things in life you can afford to be cheap on; your new car isn't one of them. Buy it right, buy it once, and maybe we'll see less whining 'my crap from eBay broke!' posts... Then again, maybe not...
