When I did my dynamat, I did the outside skin to make the doors and the part of the door that you see above. for all four doors, it took 12 Sheet of Dynamat Extreme. So far I have done 6 case of the extreme, each case has 9 sheets.

I'm trying to figure out if I can do both doors with 40 sq. ft. I am planning on getting edead v.1.se and doing a layer on the outer skin a layer on the panel itself. Then doubling up on all the other spots that aren't completely dead.

no, don't rip the plastic! thats the moisture barier.

use a utility knife to cut the black glue...then you can reuse the plastic.

as for the rivits...
use any size drill bit you have 1/4 inch or so should work fine.

Default Door panel removal

Do you just pop the door panels off? Then unplug the window controls?

I popped off my doors on my old Ford Taurus and those plastic clips soon degenerated to where I had to replace them and Ford price gouged the crap out of those things.

Thoughts?
