How's the sound and navigation?

 

I know a few people do have it here if you do a search you should find some reviews

 

Mine sounds great. The navigation took a while getting used to because I was afraid to trust it. I'm comfortable with it now and I use it all the time....beats looking at a print out from mapquest while driving!! :D
I also had the rear view camera installed and am loving it!!

I don't know much about this stuff, but isn't that unit a "single din"? If so, how did you mount it in an xB? Have pics?

sound is better than stock, (you have more control of x-overs and gains)
navi is really good, but querky too.

 

works great .... had mine for close to a year now and it has been working flawlessly

 

yeah the navigation is weird sometimes. For instance on teh way home from work it says to make a left onto a road into an immediate U turn, then left back onto the road I was just on. Basically a complete circle. Hopefully the update DVDrom will be better.

 

Does it have a mp3 memory so I don't have to keep changing discs?

 

no memory.

just add a changer...

 

You have to stick the disc in, select destination, then you can remove the disc... or you can buy the 6 disc dvd changer and just leave the disc in the N1...

not to Hijack but i have a Pioneer xdv-p9 6 disc dvd changer for sale...

I was looking at the AVic-N1. How much was it. Installed?

 

you can find the unit for about 1,500...
most shops will sell it installed for 1,900...

 

i can get the avic n1 installed here in houston for $1,375
