Anyone with Toyota/Scion XM radio kit???
I just got my Scion/Toyota XM radio kit and I'm getting ready to install it in my 4Runner. I have a Scion head unit in my truck, so I know everything will be easy to hook up. I just wanted to ask someone how everything was wired up because they didn't include any directions with the kit.
I'm think I'm going to put the receiver box under the front passenger seat, then run the harness from the receiver to the head unit inside the center console and up to the radio. How is the receiver powered? When I installed XM in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee, I had to run a wire to the battery to power everything. Do I have to do this with the Scion setup?
Anyone with ANY information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Grant
