Default audio question

I'm planning on getting upgraded comps up front and coaxels in the rear being powered my an aftermarket amp. But I don't have enough money to get everything at the same time.

Should I buy my speakers first or should I get my amp and power the stock speakers?

Get the new speakers first!!! Speakers are the end result of everything in your system. If they are crappy, nothing before them matters.

Shop around at your local audio shops so you can hear what's available. Just remember that it will sound different in the car as opposed to in the store. There are a lot of good brands available. Look around to find the best within your budget.
