Default Audiobahn Subs

I am getting the audioformz sub enclosure for my RS 2.0 xb and I'm trying to decide on a 10" sub that is going to work well with it. I want to mount it inverted to show it off a little more. I'm not as knowledgable about car audio stuff as I once was so I need some advice.

I'm looking at the audiobahn AWIS10P subwoofer (primarily due to looks). Is this going to work out mounted inverted in the audioformz enclosure? Is this overkill for this box? Any other suggestions for a nice looking sub to be mounted inverted?

Hey .... I just got the same enclosures and dropped off my box at the shop. I was alos looking at the subs from Audiobahn, the ones with the flames.... I was told by the installer that they will whistle from those flames which is not good .......... I am not yet sure what they are going to drop in there ?

I really like the look of the audiobahn subs along with there flamed amps. I know flames are overdone, but the blue and chrome in the yellow fiberglass box will look awesome with the blue yellow on the rest of the xb.

Anyone have these flamed subs in your setup (preferably inverted) that can let me know how they sound?

I've got buddies with flame series subs and the NEVER whistle... not sure exactly which model they are though but, they do have flames and I've yet to hear any Audiobahn sub that didn't pound. They do go overboard with the bling bling!

I have two Audiobahn AW120T's that I had mounted inverted for about 4 months and they sounded good. The only thing I noticed is there was a little rattling sound and I think it was the paper cone vibrating from the push back of air from the bass. I had them mounted in very small truck boxes and I think that was causing the extra vibration of air. I now have them mounted in a regular enclosure and they don't have the rattling effect going on anymore. I do want to make some plexiglass windows at the top of the enclosure to show off the flames...because this is the main reason I bought the Audiobahn's to begin with. I hope this helps.
