Default Autolumination LED's experience

I"m am still going through a bit of a pain in the butt with the Autolumination LED's. Nicely constructed pieces, but.....and with my 06 XB.....a big BUT...you need to switch wires around in the electrical connectors. After I had blown 3 fuses trying to get them installed for a quick Saturday night cruise, I had to e-mail them for info. Hmmm, a company that doesn't have a phone number to contact them after spending $300+ kinda rubs me wrong, but they are pretty quick with the e-mail replys. So a word of caution, if you don't want to spend the time, I'd probably go another route. In their defense, they did offer me my money back, minus 20% re-test/re-stock fees. And they did take my word about leaving a few bulbs out of my order....they are supposedly on the way.

First off, I'm semi new. so excuse me if I am off here. BUT...
First off, I did a goog for Autolumination LED's, and got a myriad of hits from 194 turn signals to dome lights to liscense Plate lights. ALL of witch prevailed MIXED reviews. Both about customer service and Quality.

1.Which Prodeuct SPecifically did you Purchase. Sku# if need be?
2. What specifaclly didn't work? Wires switching. did you test with the testing thing? Do you even have a testing thing?
2b. I would suggest getting a testing thing... For everything After market and Electronic that goes into your B.
3. As a Propietor of an Online Retail Establishment, I can tell you how much of a joy not having a tel # is... theres these Free things called email filters that review emails and let us know if theres Gratutious use of the F--- Word in an email. CHING that email is FILTERED OUT! On a PHONE you must pay a phone company for the line, and pay an operator, and pay for messages and pay, pay, pay,.....You in the end pay more.

Hmmm, for a semi-balanced review (I did give them some credit), ya sure seem defensive. I ordered all their top end bulbs needed to change over all my exterior lights. I've had 5 yrs dealership time prior to 15 years of working on jets...I know electricity. LOL I've also run various businesses on the side before...yes the phone is a pain, but w/o it, you're skirting your responsibility to your customers.

btw.. i still recommend for most people to leave exterior bulbs such as your turns/running/brake/reverse, etc.. alone and not into led "bulbs" which will perform worse.

Trung, TY for your interest. Actually these Eagle Eye LED bulbs (the one's w/ heat sinks) are quite bright. Nifty pieces. Just not looking forward to having to dig out the DVOM and shooting wires. LOL I guess what cracked me up the most was the "oh by the way, some of the Scions are wired "backwards"", e-mail which only came after I inquired about the multiple blown fuses. Sure could've used that info on Sat. night as I scrambled to change over everything.

I'll get over it...just gotta get it done.

Thanks.

I've ordered from them before, didn't order nearly as much as you did but they seemed alright. The co. seems like its a one man operation, which is why it doesn't have a phone #. The only complaint I have is that all their "Hyper White Xeon" bulbs aren't white but blue. Also ordered some blue neo wedge bulbs that for some reason light up green.

Yikes, guess I should clarify, that "defensive statement" was aimed at DJ's comments....not Trungs.

Yup, evidence of a one man show. LOL

I'm done venting now....LOL .....gotta go shoot some wires.

i've spent over $400 at autolumination... one of the items being LED fogs and another being 4 piece LED underbody kit... anyway, ive dealt with them for a few years.... no problems.... some of their bulbs burned out fast, but i emailed them and they offered to exchange it....

As on owner of an online store, I can tell you how much of a joy it IS having phone number. I get to talk to wonderful customers. I love my customers! I never get emails with the F--- word

If you're selling crappy products with slow shipping and bad service, then I agree the phone would be a nuisance.

Phone costs are cheap, get a VOIP line, and a toll free number @ like 5 cents a minute, answer the phone yourself, or pay someone $15 an hour (25 cents a minute).

I have heard many nice things about you guys at Oz....nice job. Autolumination has been quick to respond to e-mails, and they did (3 days later) ship me the missing bulbs. I still question the "your vehicle is wired backwards" comment. Any vehicle that these standardized bulbs are installed in is considered "backwards" then. LOL
