Default Avic d2

I am in the verge of buying the avic d2 and was wondering when the updated one is supposed to be out. I have all my audio components as of today. The only thing left is my Indash.

They did show it off in Jan right at the semi show.

I have been googling and can't find any information.

oh and btw the new D2/N3 will NOT have the same bypasses as previous models.

For example, the N2 required soidering two pins on the board under a silver sticker.
Now that silver sticker lifts up to reveal VOID and there is no long two pins but a micro switch.

The D1 which required moving an unused pin to an empty slot next to the ground, may not work on the D2.

As far as the Z1 who knows. Since Pioneer used both an internal Gyro + the GPS to detect if you are moving.

Also keep in mind it took 6 months for the orginial N2/D1 bypasses to leak.

Thus voiding your warrenty. Yea we had someone return an AVIC-N2 they tried bypassing themselves and it completely removed the pins. This was to another location or I would have told them soryy no returning it.
