I just wanted to let everyone know that you can hook both XM and Sirius up to the Avic if you piggyback the two tuners. I just got the Pioneer SIRPNR1 and piggy backed it with my Pioneer GEXP900XM and now have both Sirius and XM through direct connection instead of fm modulated. I wasn't sure if it would work or not but sure am happy it does.

 

how do you select either one? I thought the head unit wouldnt understand the information sent from the sirius tuner. Hmm... So how do you toggle between which station #1 you're listening to?

 

It reads it as diff. sources. Xm still reads under the XM source and Sirius comes under EXT 1 as Sirius. Does that make sense?
