Default Bazooka factory box install question

I am not the type of person that requires a lot of base. Usually stock 6x9s are enough for me, but unfortunately the to my knowledge only has like 6" in the rear. Do they provide descent bass or do they not do much.
What comes with the factory box as far as wiring goes. I have seen what appears to be a factory harness that goes to the back of your stereo, is this what comes with the box or is there a plug already set up in the back for it. I just ordered my 06 last week and I am thinking about ordering the box from mcgeorgesparts.com only 275 shipped.

See my install how-to for the Bazooka VSE in the tech section. The harness comes with the sub so it's up to the installer to install it.

The sub produces a good deal of bass and sounds good. I like it better than Bazooka tubes and the Infinity Basslink. A custom sealed enclosure could sound better, but would cost much more and potentially take up more space.

The a majority of people, the Bazooka VSE is a great choice.

Tech section? Not sure where that is. What kind of connector is it? Can it be tapped into because I have a friend who already bought an amp and enclosure but there is no jacks on the back of the stereo and I have never had much luck with the line converter.

Line out converters are crap, they do sell a harness adapter that will supply you with one set of RCAs and a remote turn on, you can find it on ebay

The wiring harness comes with the vse sub. It plugs into the back of the stereo where the other speaker plug is, then you plug the speaker plug into the subwoofer plug, if that makes any sense. so it's like the speakers' harness piggybacks off of the subwoofer harness. It's kinda foolproof, so don't worry about it.

Default Subwoofer Phasing

Just had my Scion tC sub upgrade installed yesterday. Man it sounded like ____. Turns out the geniuses at the dealership had the audio signal from the L/R channels 180 degrees out of phase with each other. I experimented with the balance and by channel separation, the sub was producing kick ___ bass, but combine it was crappy. Turns out the amplifier has a "Phase" switch. I have a 2006 Scion tC. The manual for installation of a sub is for an 05'. So, if you guys are experiencing weak base when the balance is 0 and strong bass when the balance is to the left or right, then you have a phase problem. The switch is located behind the circuit board on the top left.

Remove the 10" driver then looking directly at the amplifier board, goto the top left, feel behind it and you should feel a 2 position switch. That is the phase switch.
