Bazooka Sub install
got an 05 TC and was gonna pick up the Bazooka that was made for it.
Have 2 questions.
1) Does it sound any good?
2) Is the wire already back in the fender area? So install is like plug and play??
TIA

I heard mixed reviews about the sub. some say its good some say its not.
You have to run the wire from the trunk to the back of the radio. Its pretty much plug and play.
I installed the 10in SAS Bazooka Amplified Tube in my tC a few weekends ago and I am extremely happy with the outcome. maybe you may want to go the Tube route or maybe get a box with a 10 or 12in sub. Its really about preference though..

It should come with a set of instructions....when i did it about a month ago, you basically take out your back seats which are very easy and go underneath them. Then you ride along the side through the plastic....once you get to the door lift up that plastic panel and run it inside there all the way up to the dash....from there it is cake and it just plug and play...
I too love the sub for reasons beyond just the sound quality.
Number 1, I did not purchase it to thump my music down the road, I just wanted a little more bass then the normal speakers provide. Turns out it gives out a great bass sound for me.
Number 2, I didn't want to have a huge box and amp in the back trunk area being as I am an IT guy and regularly need my cargo space. Thus having a box and amp would be a bad thing. Having the current housing close to the wheelwell is great.
Now while it may be slightly over priced when matched against other systems at the same price level, the fact it's tight and compact makes up for it.
