Default The BOOMERANG Armrest?????

Is anybody familiar with the BOOMERANG Armrest for xB----at: www.scionarmrest.com/order.html It has storage for CD's , etc but it looks like you lose the rear (for what its worth) cup holder. About $129 on the internet. Would like you pros to check it out and give me your opinion of it-----or if you already have one----how do you like it??? As Usual----Thanks PJRACER- Dunedin

We've sold a few here. The customers that bought them seem to like them better than than one offered from Scion. If your local dealership has them in stock, you might want to go by and check them out.

I have the Boomerang and I like it BUT I wish it was a bit higher(about 3 inches higher) and the rear cup holder is lost but I don't let anyone drink in my Box to begin with. I paid about $60 for mine but I don't remember from who but I do remember it was off of ebay, brand new. I'd say get it...

I just took out my boomerang, I loved it at first. I reason i removed it is because im tall 6'2 and i have to lean to the right to get my arm to rest on it and after a few months it's been bothering my back and its been uncomfortable. I still have all the screws and parts. it's slightly worn, I will sell it to you if you want. I think i still have the cd case that comes with it, but i DO NOT have instructions to install..

I miss the coin holder part of the armrest the most.

boomerang did it ... talk to Chris :-)
it been about a year since i got my ... so i dont know if or how much extra will it be.

they will ask you how many inches ... so know how high you want ... but dont go overboard either.

I dont know if my is exactly six inches .... i got my standard and thats when i called and he asked me to measure from that plastic storage part. since you dont have one yet .... measure from the back cup holder all the way up to your elbow and see how tall you need it.

I have the Boomerang in my xA, and the OEM rest in my xB. I like the Boomerang better. It's more solid and is more comfortable (plus it has storage). Just one suggestion: Go ahead and spend the extra $ and get the optional leather top for the Boomerang. I got it and I like it 100 times better than the standard rubber top.

When I put my boomerang in this morning it leans a little too far to the left and rubs against the seat. I'm guessing one of the mounting feet is improperly alligned. Any other suggestions? Mark

I have the boomerang, and absolutley love it perfect fit for me and im 6'2, i beleive it only comes in one color and you can find it on ebay $99 with free shipping. As with the leaning to the left make sure your mounting feet are even and not sitting on anything on tone side , should sit flush in and be a perfect fit. Just becareful with the screw that comes with it, its a long beast, i didnt want to tighten mine down all the way because i was scared it would puncture somthing below the hole, cant hurt my baby. Good luck

Yeah, the xB is crazy. I'm 6'5" and I feel little inside it. Guess I gotta head out to the parking lot with screwdrivers. loosen the screw and adjust the feet. Thanks. Mark
